ATM Supplier - Tidel
Tidel Engineering L.P., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sentinel Technologies Inc., is an ATM supplier that pioneered the cash management and security equipment for automated teller machines in late 1970s. Tidel invented the robbery deterrent product that became a standard in ATM machines everywhere. This product was named Time Access Cash Controller (TACC) which remains the core component for over 200,000 TACCs working in retail ATM locations worldwide. In 2006, Tidel sold all of its ATM products to NCR EasyPoint, LLC.
ATM Tidel (Indoor)
After Tidel sold their ATM products to NCR, they have not released any new (ATM) automated teller machines under the Tidel brand. Tidel's most popular stand-alone ATM machines were the Tidel 3100, Tidel 3400, and Tidel 3600. All three of these model series are still widely used today in most retail store-front locations. The Tidel 3100 is the ATM machine that is most cost effective compared to the other automated teller machines.
ATM Tidel (Outdoor)
The Tidel 3700 was the most popular for Tidel's wall-mounted ATM machines. The 3700 ATM model uses its original operation system, however, has been proven to still be a reliable ATM machine placed in many retail locations today.
